Award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders a one-year contract for Commercial and limited Residential Solid Waste Collection and Roll Off Service with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods, depending on the appropriation of funds and satisfactory performance, at a total estimated annual expenditure of $324,152.00 to: South Yuma County Landfill dba C & D Disposal of Yuma, Arizona for Roll Off Service and Residential Commercial Solid Waste Collection to Allied Waste Transportation, Inc. dba Republic Services of Yuma, Yuma, Arizona (Public Works RFB-25-062) (Joel Olea/Eric Urfer/Robin R. STRATEGIC OUTCOME:
This item supports the City Council’s strategic outcome of Safe and Prosperous by ensuring the reliability and quality of the City’s commercial waste collection.
REPORT:
This contract provides for Commercial and limited Residential Solid Waste Collection and Roll Off Service, for various City residential customers and City-owned facilities.
This contract is necessary to service front-loading dumpster containers to a limited number of residential customers (duplexes and small apartments) and various City-owned locations.
