STRATEGIC OUTCOME:
The approval of this Preannexation Development Agreement will facilitate the development of the property furthering the City Council’s strategic outcome of Safe and Prosperous.
REPORT:
UBLA Properties, LLC (owner) owns the parcel located at 2108 W. 26th Street (APN 694-06-026) (Property). The owner has requested a Preannexation Development Agreement to connect to City of Yuma services. The subject property is presently undeveloped; however, the applicant is proposing to split the parcel in the County into four lots for a new residential development.
In accordance with City policy, to receive City of Yuma services, annexation or a preannexation development agreement are required. Since annexation of the Property is not possible at the current time, a Preannexation Development Agreement will be executed, kept on file, and utilized at such time that a larger annexation can be brought forward.
The attached resolution authorizes a Preannexation Development Agreement with UBLA Properties, LLC for the Property shown on the location map attached to the agreement.
