STRATEGIC OUTCOME:

This purchase supports a safe and prosperous community by providing the City with reliable, modern equipment that allows staff to perform essential maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.

REPORT:

The 2006 loader being replaced has exceeded its 15-year life expectancy and has been essential to ongoing street maintenance and other citywide projects.

Once removed from active operation, the 2006 unit will be designated as a surplus asset and disposed of through either Public Surplus or the City Auction.
