STRATEGIC OUTCOME:

This agreement supports City Council’s Respected and Responsible strategic outcome by providing residents with reliable access to telehealth services while maintaining fiscal responsibility through a no-cost partnership.

REPORT:

The City of Yuma seeks approval of an agreement with MD Ally Technologies, Inc. to adopt the terms and conditions of the City of Phoenix’s competitively procured telehealth services contract (RFP 22-071). MD Ally currently provides telehealth services under Contract No. 155988 with the City of Phoenix, as amended in 2023, and the amended contract permits other Arizona municipalities to utilize its terms with MD Ally’s consent.

Under the proposed agreement, MD Ally will provide telehealth services to Yuma residents consistent with the scope defined in the Phoenix contract. There is no cost to the City of Yuma, as MD Ally receives compensation directly from patients or their representatives. The agreement includes a five-year initial term with automatic one-year renewals unless either party elects non-renewal. Required indemnity and insurance provisions in favor of the City of Phoenix will extend to the City of Yuma.

This agreement enhances community access to telehealth services while leveraging an existing contract to ensure efficiency, fiscal responsibility, and continuity of care. The City Attorney has reviewed the agreement, and staff recommends approval.
