Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the  
Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing.  
Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.  
CALL TO ORDER  
I. ELEVATE SOUTHWEST  
Jerry Cabrera, President and CEO, will provide an Elevate Southwest update; followed by  
City Council discussion.  
II. YUHSD CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION  
Nereida Lansman, Director, Career & Technical Education (CTE), along with CTE students  
will provide a presentation on the CTE program; followed by City Council discussion;  
followed by a reading of the proclamation for Career and Technical Education Month by  
Mayor Nicholls.  
III. YOUTH GOVERNMENT PROGRAM  
Jennifer Reichelt, Deputy City Administrator, and Jennifer Miller, Communications Manager,  
will provide an overview of the City's new Youth Government Program; followed by City  
Council discussion.  
IV. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF FEBRUARY 4, 2026  
City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting  
agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is  
posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk  
and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov).  
V. EXECUTIVE SESSION  
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving  
legal advice for items included on the February 4, 2026, Regular City Council Meeting and the  
February 3, 2026, Regular Worksession agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3,  
4 and/or 7) and the following items:  
A. Discussion, consultation and/or direction to legal counsel regarding the lawsuit of Quinn  
v. City of Yuma. (A.R.S. §38-431.03 A3 & A4)
