Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the
Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing.
Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
I. FIRST THINGS FIRST PROGRAM
Zahid Plantillas, Community Engagement Coordinator for First Things First, will provide an
organizational overview, discuss their community engagement priorities, as well as early
childhood education issues; followed by City Council discussion.
II. INTEGRATED MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLAN
Steve Wilson, Assistant Director of Engineering, will provide an update on the Multimodal
Transportation Master Plan; followed by City Council discussion.
III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF JANUARY 7, 2026
City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting
agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is
posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk
and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov).
IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving
legal advice for items included on the January 7, 2026, Regular City Council Meeting and the
January 6, 2026, Regular Worksession agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3,
4 and/or 7) and the following items:
A. Discussion with City Administrator regarding annual performance review. (A.R.S.
38-431.03 A1)
B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel concerning the potential
sale and acquisition of real properties. (A.R.S. § 38-431.03 A3, A4 & A7)
