Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the
Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing.
Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
I. HUMANE SOCIETY OF YUMA
Annette Lagunas, Executive Director, will provide an overview and statistics on animal
welfare in the City of Yuma, as well as discuss the partnership between the Humane Society
and the City of Yuma; followed by City Council discussion.
II. ARIZONA WESTERN COLLEGE
Dr. Daniel Corr, President of Arizona Western College, will present on Arizona Western
College's impact on the Yuma community; followed by City Council discussion.
III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF APRIL 1, 2026
City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting
agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is
posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk
and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov).
IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving
legal advice for items included on the April 1, 2026, Regular City Council Meeting and the
March 31, 2026, Regular Worksession agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3,
4 and/or 7) and the following items:
A. There are no additional Executive Session items scheduled at this time.
