Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the
Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing.
Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
I. ROADWAY SAFETY ACTION PLAN UPDATE
Michael Grandy, Kimley-Horn, will present the Roadway Safety Action Plan update; followed
by City Council discussion.
II. COUNCIL WORKSESSIONS AND COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS
Jenn Reichelt, Deputy City Administrator, will provide an overview of proposed meeting
structures and formats for Council Worksessions and community conversations, building on
dialogue held during the 2026 City Council Retreat; followed by City Council discussion.
III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF AUGUST 5, 2026
City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting
agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is
posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk
and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov).
IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving
legal advice for items included on the August 5, 2026, Regular City Council Meeting and the
August 4, 2026, Regular Worksession agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4
and/or 7) and the following items:
A. Discussion or consultation with legal counsel concerning A.R.S. § 38-431 et seq. (A.R.S.
§ 38-431.03 A3)
B. Discussion, consultation, and/or direction to legal counsel concerning potential sale
and/or lease of City-owned property. (A.R.S. § 38-431.03 A3, A4 and A7)
